About Susanne Zenker
She may look like the quintessential California girl but the truth is she was born in Germany, educated in Italy, taught in Paris and destined for Los Angeles. As the owner and visionary of Horn Boutique, Susanne Zenker put her extensive style background to work in the laid back sunshine of California. Susanne has now moved on as fashion director and buyer for On Sunset boutique.
Growing up in Berlin where she aided her family in running their four high-profile stores, Zenker began her style studies at a young age. After learning the ins and out of her family’s retail empire, Zenker decided to make her way to Italy to attend the prestigious Instituto Marongoni in Milan. Her tour of European style eventually led her to Paris where she completed a highly coveted internship with Karl Lagerfeld. It was then, that Zenker finally made her way to California where she earned marketing and merchandising degree at FIDM in Los Angeles. Zenker soon realized her true fashion forte in retail. It is about carrying the “right” pieces rather than a lot of pieces.
Today, Zenker continues to travel the globe in search of distinct and vibrant designs for “On Sunset “boutique. Almost any hour of the day, Zenker can be found landing at tomorrow’s next star atelier.
